About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Leader to join our team at Green Recruitment Company. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading European Infra Fund in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Performance Monitoring: Oversee the daily performance of renewable energy assets in Iberia, including KPI monitoring and asset optimization of solar assets.
  • Site Visits and Compliance: Conduct regular site visits to ensure assets meet quality and technical specifications, and comply with applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Contract Management: Review maintenance plans, ensure compliance with contracts, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate and manage O&M contracts, PPA agreements, and other stakeholder relationships.
  • Commercial Relationship Building: Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including EPC contractors, O&M contractors, and grid operators.
  • Financial Management: Work with the finance team to manage processes around bonds, cash retentions, P&L, cash flow, OPEX, and annual budgets.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare monthly reports for lenders on revenues, costs, EBITDA, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Engineering or relevant degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in asset management, with commercial management skills valued.
  • Skills: Good commercial skills in solar and/or wind projects, ability to communicate effectively, and clear communication in Spanish and English.
