DeFi Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a DeFi Research Analyst. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth technical due diligence on emerging protocols and technologies in the blockchain space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical reviews of new and existing blockchain protocols and technologies, evaluating their technical soundness, competitiveness, scalability, security, and potential risks.
  • Monitor significant news events related to blockchain and cryptocurrency, particularly those impacting Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions, and assess their potential effects on token prices and the overall market.
  • Keep an eye on market indicators and upcoming catalysts, and inform traders of potential anomalies, conducting research and suggesting potential trading ideas.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from the Ethereum blockchain using appropriate tools and techniques, extracting relevant metrics and patterns to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
  • Communicate complex research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, preparing comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations that effectively convey analytical results, implications, and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in blockchain technology, particularly in Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions.
  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong passion for the blockchain industry and trading cryptocurrencies.
