Cryptoeconomics Researcher

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Cryptoeconomics Researcher. As a member of our team, you will participate in research on economics models, incentive structures, and financial mechanisms of Ethereum and its protocols. You will analyze risks associated with staking, restaking, and other blockchain-specific economic activities, as well as MEV and related opportunities and threats. Additionally, you will collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements to blockchain protocols based on research findings and stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology, cryptoeconomics, and finance.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze economics models, incentive structures, and financial mechanisms of Ethereum and its protocols.
  • Study risks associated with staking, restaking, and other blockchain-specific economic activities.
  • Examine MEV and related opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements to blockchain protocols based on research findings.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology, cryptoeconomics, and finance.
Requirements:
  • Foundation in economics, finance, and quantitative analysis.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and crypto-economics.
