We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sports Shop Sales Associate to join our company, La Provincia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the organization of our sports shop, and assisting customers in finding the right products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive shopping experience.
  2. Product Knowledge: Provide product features and benefits, answer inquiries, and offer recommendations to customers, ensuring they make informed purchasing decisions.
  3. Sales and Merchandising: Actively participate in sales efforts by promoting featured products and upselling when appropriate, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Inventory Management: Receive, check, and organize merchandise deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting in regular stock checks.
  5. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing warehouse environment.
  6. Merchandising and Display: Ensure an appealing presentation of products through effective merchandising and implement and maintain attractive product displays.
  7. Customer Transactions: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, providing support to other areas as needed.
  8. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about sports products, trends, and industry developments, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. This position requires a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting customer needs.
  2. Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a sports-related environment, is highly valued.
  3. Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to assist clients in making informed choices are essential.
  4. Knowledge of sports equipment and apparel is required.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  6. A proactive approach and customer-focused attitude are essential for providing exceptional customer service.
  7. The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment is crucial.
  8. Basic administrative skills, including point of sale systems, are required.
  9. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with proficiency in additional languages such as German and/or Scandinavian language highly valued.
  10. Punctuality and reliability are essential for meeting responsibilities and deadlines.
