Lead Producer - The Sims

At Maxis, we're passionate about creating games that inspire and delight our players. As a Lead Producer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the vision and direction of our next-generation game, The Sims.

About the Role

As a Lead Producer, you'll be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and artists to deliver a world-class gaming experience. You'll work closely with our Design, Marketing, Brand, and Analytics teams to ensure that our game meets the highest standards of quality, market-fit, and player satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the vision and goals for the game, working closely with the development team to ensure that we're delivering a product that meets our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with our Design team to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences that surprise and delight our players.
  • Work with our Marketing team to develop a go-to-market strategy that showcases the game's unique features and benefits.
  • Partner with our Brand team to ensure that our game aligns with the EA brand values and messaging.
  • Work closely with our Analytics team to track player behavior and feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve the game.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Producer, with a proven track record of leading game development teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of developers, designers, and artists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, with a strong understanding of the game development process.
