Position Overview: Accounting and Administrative Manager

Transdev España is currently seeking an Accounting and Administrative Manager (AAM) in Madrid.

In this role, the AAM will report directly to the Country CFO and will also work closely with the Group Financial Management team.

The primary responsibilities include providing essential support in accounting, taxation, administrative tasks, and compliance functions for Transdev Spain.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Taxation

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures for the holding entity.
  • Coordinate and supervise the country’s tax consolidation with local finance teams and headquarters.
  • Manage and evaluate the accounting processes and current accounts for the holding and affiliated companies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the holding company's annual budget and forecasting phases, along with development projects and other operational activities.
  • Ensure and supervise the summary of country consolidations (holding and operational activities).
  • Participate in analyzing budget variances, profitability, and the country’s cash position.
Administrative Support

  • Provide commercial and administrative assistance at both the Country CEO and Group levels.
  • Offer administrative support and coordination to local finance teams regarding suppliers, customers, expense reports, ticketing, and payroll processes.
  • Assist the Country bid team with administrative support in tender projects.
  • Monitor the execution of administrative procedures at the country level.
  • Manage and support relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders (financial, legal, tax).
Compliance Management

  • Implement and oversee Transdev Group's ethics, compliance, and data protection procedures at the country level.
  • Enforce and monitor the company's Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage third-party control processes (KYC - Know Your Customer).
  • Supervise risk management, fraud prevention, and whistleblowing control processes.
  • Oversee revenue and financial usage control processes.
  • Assist in enhancing internal compliance at the country level.
Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in accounting, management, or finance.

Experience
2-5 years in a similar role within a private business environment. Experience in a multi-site, geographically dispersed organization is advantageous.

Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of international financial reporting standards and familiarity with financial IT systems is beneficial.
  • Experience in Business Development, including tenders, is an asset.
