Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Design Technology and Maths Teacher at Sek International Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students in developing design skills and creative thinking, as well as fostering their ability to solve problems innovatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement teaching plans for subjects, sessions, and other areas of the department.
- Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning meetings to design effective teaching and assessment strategies.
- Use the MYP design cycle (Investigate, Plan, Create, Evaluate, and Reflect) as a fundamental tool in the design process for this subject.
- Participate in the standardization of assessment tasks to ensure consistency and fairness in student evaluation.
- Contribute to curriculum research and improvement by providing ideas and resources to enhance the student learning experience.
- Stay updated on the IB program guides being taught.
