Job Title: Science and Technology Educator

Agora Princess Margaret International School is a leading international academic centre in Barcelona, renowned for its strong Catalan heritage and commitment to innovation. We are seeking a highly qualified Science and Technology Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lessons in Science and Technology, ensuring alignment with the prescribed curriculum and adapting to meet the needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing student behavior, and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate students' language proficiency, comprehension, and writing skills, providing timely feedback on student progress.
  • Parent and Teacher Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on students' progress, addressing concerns, and collaborating on educational goals.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative duties related to record-keeping, attendance, and reporting as required by the school and education authorities.
  • Collaborative Work: Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate curriculum development, assessments, and educational initiatives, upholding professional ethics and standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • High level of English proficiency, with the ability to teach 100% in English.
  • Spanish is desirable.
  • Experience teaching Science and Technology subjects.
  • A valid work permit to work in Spain/European Union.
