Job Opportunity at Agora Princess Margaret International School

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Science and Technology Teacher to join our team at Agora Princess Margaret International School in Barcelona. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Science and Technology, ensuring that students meet the prescribed curriculum standards.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student behavior and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Design and conduct assessments to evaluate student learning, providing timely feedback and guidance to support student progress.
  • Parent and Teacher Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative duties related to record-keeping, attendance, and reporting, as required by the school and education authorities.
  • Collaborative Work: Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate curriculum development, assessments, and educational initiatives, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Professional Ethics: Uphold professional standards, including safeguarding, maintaining confidentiality, and respecting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • High level of English proficiency, with the ability to teach 100% in English.
  • Spanish is desirable, but not required.
  • Experience teaching Science and Technology at the secondary level.
  • A valid work permit to work in Spain/European Union.
