Senior Construction Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Architect to join our team at Bjarke Ingels Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading the construction of our exciting projects and overseeing the technical and delivery aspects of our designs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and support the construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Advise on technical and delivery aspects of project development, including design, technical excellence, and regulatory applications.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure the highest technical and innovative levels are maintained.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to promote technical excellence across projects.
- Review and assess risk within all stages of design activity and provide proactive proposals for risk mitigation.
- Monitor and assess project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement creative design scenarios.
- Support the development of project timelines and work-plans, ensuring they are realistic and achievable.
- Proactively deal with risk assessment and management, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- A professional degree in architecture or constructing architecture, with +5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical competency and industry knowledge, with experience of technical design development, delivery, and construction.
- Clear understanding of the creative design process through all work stages.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
