We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Translation Specialist to join our team at Clarivate in Barcelona. As a key member of our translation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of patent content.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze machine-translated weekly publications of patents to assess the quality of the MT output.
- Review editorial suggestions applied to local translation dictionaries, approve valid suggestions, and oversee updates to master dictionaries or translation memories.
- Manage customer cases and operational requests for translation enhancement, allocate retranslation/enhancement requests, and manage any associated updates to the master dictionaries and translation memory.
- Provide data analysis and reporting from periodic quality benchmarking reviews.
- Provide analysis and feedback of quality assurance data to external vendors to drive continuous content improvement.
- Provide analysis and suggestions for process and content improvements as part of daily role or through participation in project teams.
You'll be reporting to the Operations Manager, IP Translation, based in Barcelona. You'll be part of a global team of more than 20 colleagues. The team culture is dynamic, creative, and supportive – excellence, integrity, and care are in our DNA.
