Role Overview

The Global Market Access & Pricing Team is in search of a pivotal member who will play a crucial role in shaping our commercial strategy. This individual will be responsible for ensuring optimal pricing and reimbursement for our products across European, US, and international markets. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate the value proposition to payers, distinguish Almirall's brands, and provide comprehensive support for other marketed products.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic company that boasts a diverse product pipeline and a highly skilled Global Market Access team, presenting stimulating professional challenges in a collaborative environment. The role is based at the company headquarters, with options for hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend strategies to optimize pricing and reimbursement across various markets and products, ensuring sustainable profitability.
  • Coordinate with affiliates: Collaborate with local teams and partners to integrate their insights into the development and execution of brand access strategies.
  • Update Value Propositions: Create and refine value propositions, comparative effectiveness arguments, and payer value messages to achieve target pricing and market access.
  • Market Insight and Expertise: Maintain awareness of competitive landscapes, international reference pricing, and regulatory frameworks, with experience in US, European, and other markets.
  • Support Above Brand Market Access Teams: Assist market companies in formulating country-specific pricing and reimbursement documentation.
  • Provide hands-on assistance in developing cross-brand initiatives and projects that enhance the market access function both within and beyond the global market access team.

Qualifications

  • University Degree.
  • Over five years of experience in the life sciences sector.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in Pricing and Market Access.
  • A Master’s degree in Health Economics, Market Access, or an MBA is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Results-driven with strong analytical capabilities and a business-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to comprehend and convey complex scientific and economic concepts.
  • Knowledge of health economics.
  • Familiarity with payer and HTA systems in European and US markets is essential.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Capability to produce high-quality project and strategic plans.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
