About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Cross Banking Assets team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in working with our core banking systems to drive business growth and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Scope the System: Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad members to ensure accurate requirements specification on an epic/story level. Create user stories and work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  2. Translate Business Needs: Define business, process, usability, and data requirements in partnership with users. Support the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulate identified impacts and risks.
  3. Validate Requirements, UAT Testing & User Training: Write and conduct UAT test cases, work with engineers to resolve functional issues, and validate e2e requirements via reviews, walkthroughs, and demos.
  4. Create and Improve Documentation: Develop, review, and improve functional/non-functional documentation in close partnership with engineering teams. Review business-facing documentation and train non-squad stakeholders as needed.
  5. Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication at the team level to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions. Proactively identify risks/issues that might affect the squad's overall health.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Consultant, Business or Technical Analyst, preferably in Financial Services, conducting Functional Analysis, business analysis, data analytics, or UX topics.
  3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), fluent in English (written/verbal). Additional language(s) are an advantage.
  4. Good knowledge of business analysis methods (agile/scrum, waterfall) and sound knowledge of MS Office tools. Experience with other tools used in the Business Functional Analysis Profession (Jira, Confluence, HP ALM) is a plus.
  5. Proven ability to identify and interpret stakeholders' needs and requirements, conceptualize and define alternative solutions, and design and document business requirements.
  6. Self-motivated and highly organized individual with flexibility to work autonomously, prioritize work duties and tasks, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. High degree of soft skills while working with both IT and business colleagues, with the ability to collaborate and share information in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations.
