The Role

The backend team at Immfly develops innovative services that enable users to interact with our In-flight entertainment platform in a unique way. This includes entertainment platforms, integration with 3rd party APIs, data handling, and report creation, among other services.

As a software developer on the backend team, you will contribute to delivering the next generation of Immfly's backend and commerce architecture. You will build tools that are reliable and scalable using Python and shape the work of your peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the backend team and other teams to build high-quality client experiences
  • Become familiar with the existing Immfly technology stack
  • Contribute to architectural, design, and process discussions involving technological choices
  • Identify and uphold backend engineering best practices
  • Create, build, maintain, and optimize the backend project and help in creating a microservices infrastructure
  • Work with a wide spectrum of partners to define best practices and optimal solutions
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience working on large-scale Python applications (or similar technologies)
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Basic knowledge of scripting on Linux systems
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Previous experience in Django or FastAPI is a bonus
  • Occasional travel is required
