About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will be a key figure in the company strategy, responsible for managing the financial health of Merlin Digital Partner, ensuring its stability and growth in the short and long term.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Preparation of the business plan, budgets, and forecasts with an analytical and accounting focus, including profit and loss statements and cash flow.
  • Financial Control: Detailed cost analysis and monitoring of deviations from the budget, collaborating with responsible departments to optimize results.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, providing detailed reports to the CEO and executive team.
  • Cash Management and Financing: Supervision of cash flow and evaluation of financing alternatives, ensuring liquidity and efficiency in the use of financial resources.
  • Regulatory and Tax Compliance: Effective management of tax obligations and compliance with local and international regulations, with a special emphasis on Spanish tax and accounting.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in financial roles, with at least 5 years in positions as CFO with a team in charge.
  • Deep knowledge in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, with specific experience in Spanish tax and accounting.
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
