Job Title: Internal Control Finance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Finance Specialist to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of our internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Support the development and implementation of our internal control over non-financial reporting (ICSR) processes.
- Oversee the segregation of duties (SoD) to ensure that all financial transactions are properly authorized and recorded.
- Provide independent assurance and advice to our auditees on the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and segregation of duties monitoring.
- Develop and maintain our internal control manual and methodology to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in external auditors' review of our control efficiency to ensure that our internal controls are operating effectively.
- Document necessary processes and procedures included in the ICFR scope, and support the ICSR scope.
- Follow up on action plans for issues reported to the Audit Committee by Group Internal Audit with stakeholders, ensuring internal audit practices conform to established processes and professional standards.
- Stay updated on new legal requirements and coordinate the effective implementation of objectives set for the internal control function.
- Conduct necessary training and internal control awareness sessions to build a collaborative relationship with units affected by the ICFR and ICSR scope.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in internal or external audit, in a corporation or an audit company.
- Excellent financial and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of another language is beneficial.
