Internal Control Finance Specialist

Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Finance Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough testing of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Support the development and implementation of internal control procedures to mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee segregation of duties (SoD) to prevent unauthorized access to financial systems and data.
- Provide independent assurance and advice to auditees on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Prepare and maintain the internal control manual and methodology to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in external auditors' review of control efficiency to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Document necessary processes and procedures included in the ICFR scope and support the ICSR scope.
- Follow up on action plans for issues reported to the Audit Committee by Group Internal Audit with stakeholders, ensuring internal audit practices conform to established processes and professional standards.
- Stay updated on new legal requirements and coordinate the effective implementation of objectives set for the internal control function.
- Conduct necessary training and internal control awareness sessions to build a collaborative relationship with units affected by the ICFR and ICSR scope.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in internal or external audit, in a corporation or an audit company.
- Excellent financial and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of another language is beneficial.
