Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Guest Communication: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Room Preparation: Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
  • Reporting and Administration: Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Team Collaboration: Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
  • Safety and Security: Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Quality and Standards: Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
