Job Overview:

The Head of Accounting and Administration is responsible for overseeing all accounting and administrative functions of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and office management.

This role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong organizational and analytical skills. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of financial information and the efficient operation of administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting and Financial Management:
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
    • Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax and audit requirements.
    • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Identify and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Administrative Management:
    • Oversee office management functions, ensuring efficient administrative support across the organization.
    • Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and contract administration.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing accounting and administrative team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Optimize financial and administrative processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
    • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
