Job Title: Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor

Are you a skilled Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor looking for a challenging role in the maritime industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Jrc/Alphatron Marine.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor to perform a variety of tasks, including service activities, installation, and commissioning of marine electronics equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, surveying, and a proven track record of working on IMO vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform service activities in the Algeciras area and southern Spain, as well as other areas of the world when required.
  • Carry out services onboard vessels on behalf of Alphatron Marine Iberia, Alphatron Marine, Japan Radio Co., and other international customers.
  • Install, commission, and sea trial marine electronics equipment sold by Alphatron Marine Iberia, and submit service reports and other service/installation related documents according to group needs and internal procedures.
  • Support the service department in other areas, such as coordination, quotation of spares, warranties, etc.
  • Communicate with AMIB coordinator, agents, manufacturers, and service partners involved in services.
Requirements:
  • Marine Electronics Engineer and Surveyor, GOC approved.
  • Autonomous and self-propelled in all service-related tasks.
  • Driven by productivity and ready to be evaluated under that parameter.
  • Strong background in electronics engineering and surveying.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
