Job Summary

The Strategic Director will be responsible for developing and executing the cluster strategy, setting targets, and overseeing the sales pipeline in the cluster. This role will report to the Regional Managing Director and will be a member of the Cluster Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
    • Translate, shape, and execute the company strategy at a cluster/country level, using a data-led approach to drive revenue growth, client retention, and regulatory engagement.
    • Work with the Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development teams to build strategic frameworks and content to influence functional/divisional strategies and acquisition opportunities.
    • Develop thought leadership to drive cluster growth, including country strategy, board presentations, global business reviews, and strategic support for business development.
  • Commercial Operations
    • Collaborate with Commercial/Business Development Teams and stakeholders on strategic components for individual client RFP responses.
    • Lead the orchestration of the cluster business planning cycle, linking Multi-year Strategic Outlook (MSO) to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
    • Develop and execute cross-functional initiatives with high strategic impact to the business, representing the cluster in cross-functional forums as needed.
  • Client and Cluster Management
    • Work with Country Managers, Functional teams, and specialized sales teams to develop client and cluster-specific business plans and targets aligned to strategy.
    • Contribute to the identification and capture of new Generative AI use cases in support of business growth and industry evolution.

Requirements

This role requires a senior-level professional with experience in strategy development, commercial operations, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payments industry and experience working with cross-functional teams.
