Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Krell-consulting is seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team in a remote work arrangement.

Job Description:

We are looking for a professional with expertise in data migration and transformation to lead the technological conversion process from SAS to Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating and reviewing current SAS code, assessing the necessary code conversion to the new Azure platform, and converting SAS code to a solution in Azure using a file-based solution (Parquet files) and Synapse (Pyspark) to apply business logic and transformations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data migration and transformation process from SAS to Azure
  • Evaluate and review current SAS code and assess the necessary code conversion to the new Azure platform
  • Convert SAS code to a solution in Azure using a file-based solution (Parquet files) and Synapse (Pyspark) to apply business logic and transformations
  • Functional and technical documentation of the solutions migrated to the Azure new platform

Requirements:

  • At least 3-6 years of experience in data migration and transformation
  • Expertise in Azure, Synapse (Pyspark), and SAS
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level)
