About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team at SDC Ventures GmbH. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures on Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Data Lake
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL and PySpark
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Optimize data processing and storage for improved performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data infrastructure
Requirements
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions and databases like Azure Synapse and Data Lake
  • Strong coding skills in languages like SQL and PySpark
  • Deep understanding of ELT processes and data modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and its data-related services
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What We Offer

We offer a fully remote position with a 6-month contract that can lead to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be located in Spain and have a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and a willingness to continuously develop.
