Role Overview
The position of Global Pricing Manager is crucial for our sustainability, ensuring that Welcome Pickups can offer the right product to the right customer at the optimal time and price, while balancing revenue enhancement with operational efficiency. In this role, you will spearhead the optimization of our revenue through innovative and strategic business initiatives that leverage our global resources and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement pricing and promotional strategies that yield optimal financial results and align with broader pricing objectives, in collaboration with Commercial and Operations teams.
- Serve as a consultant and coordinator, utilizing expertise and tools to enhance pricing strategies across various regions.
- Advise the team on refining strategies based on market dynamics and performance metrics, establishing financial targets for key initiatives.
- Analyze trends and factors influencing price elasticity for customers and drivers, while keeping an eye on competitor activities.
- Conduct pricing experiments, validate outcomes, and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role, with a focus on managing pricing processes and implementing pricing strategies.
- Strong business insight and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- A positive and engaging demeanor.
- Familiarity with digital technologies and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable, as the ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- A Master's Degree in Business Administration is considered a significant advantage.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
