EU Policy Implementation Lead

About the Role
ICF is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our established Policy Implementation and Programmes practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful projects within the EU policy landscape, working closely with key stakeholders including European institutions and organizations in the UK.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for specific activities or strands of work within large-scale programmes, reporting directly to Contract Managers and Directors.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of one or several programmes, ensuring successful delivery against defined objectives and timelines.
- Lead and coordinate multi-national and multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, experts, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders within the EU policy sphere.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and bids for new projects, leveraging your expertise in EU policy and programme management.
Your Background
- 10+ years of proven experience in managing complex programmes within the EU policy domain, ideally with a background in employment, social, or migration policy.
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating multi-national teams of professionals.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Prince2, PMP).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
