The Western Europe Customer Success Security Strategist is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the Implementation, Adoption, and Utilization of our Security Solutions across various cloud platforms and multiple nations. The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical foundation and is a passionate business leader with a knack for mentoring and coaching to further develop our managers and teams across different regions. The Security Strategist will thrive in a high-performance environment and take pleasure in nurturing and developing some of the most talented technical professionals within Microsoft . The perfect candidate will not hesitate to adopt a hands-on approach to manage critical security incidents as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing your expertise in leading technical teams, you will empower the teams to ensure clients derive maximum value from their Microsoft Security investments (including Zero Trust, Threat Management, Security Operations (SIEM / SOAR), Extended Detection & Response (XDR), Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, supported by Unified Success Contracts).
  • Guide the team to be a proactive, agile, and responsive point of contact for clients and to serve as an effective technical Voice of the Customer within Microsoft. Act as a role model by personally sponsoring key accounts . Assist in eliminating obstacles for the team.
  • Foster a culture that enhances account references , advocacy, and loyalty for the Customer Success Architecture practice by maintaining high levels of client success and satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and develop high-performance teams by hiring the right talent and ensuring that technical skill development plans align with both client and Microsoft priorities. Mentor and develop Managers to ensure a future-ready organization capable of effectively delivering against priorities.
  • Drive the growth of workload usage through Customer Success Excellence, mitigating competitive threats.
  • Embrace a culture of operational excellence , including timely management of consumption/utilization opportunities, Scrum methodologies, and high-quality reporting and insights through appropriate tools and channels.

Qualifications

Professional Experience:

  • A thought leader with a strong executive presence, capable of engaging in discussions at the CxO and BDM levels, with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust, forge alliances, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in People Management; a background as a Manager of Managers is advantageous.
  • Empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement, skill acquisition, and results-driven performance.
  • Experience in Escalation Management and Crisis Management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven technical leadership through previous roles in technical coaching or leadership.
  • Experience in engineering, technical sales, or consultative delivery management, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical comprehension of Applications & Infrastructure Enterprise cloud workloads, with the ability to stay informed about new and improved Azure scenarios and workloads.

Certifications:

  • Certification from a major hyperscale Cloud provider (e.g., Microsoft Azure AZ-305, AWS SA Professional) is preferred.
  • OR Certification in one of the following areas: Cloud, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (e.g., containers, microservices, API management), modern software development methodologies such as DevOps and CI/CD toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure developer services, GitHub), and container orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure Kubernetes Service, GitHub).
  • OR Certification in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Python is preferred.
