About the Role
The Senior Manager - Airport Automation is a critical role within IAG GBS, responsible for driving the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency of airports IAG airlines operate from.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a portfolio of projects that aim to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency of airports IAG airlines operate from.
- Drive the implementation of innovative solutions that leverage emerging technologies such as biometrics, self-service, robotics, machine vision, and artificial intelligence.
- Identify opportunities that enable cost savings within the Hub and Non-Hub airports, whether automation or process related.
- Lead and motivate a team of project managers, business analysts, technical experts, and change managers.
- Work closely with regional commercial and operational teams both within IAG and within the Airlines to ensure benefits are realized from automation or process improvement projects.
- Monitor and report on the programme progress, performance, quality, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in airport automation and innovation.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in airport operations.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
