Job Title: Technical Application Engineer

As a Technical Application Engineer at Ecolab, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and profit growth for our Nalco Water Light Division. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their key business drivers, and executing system assurance programs. With a consultative sales approach, you will identify opportunities to sell new technologies to current customers and convert strategic competitive accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support district sales personnel in handling company program service calls on existing products and services.
  • Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and evaluations.
  • Assist in critiquing products for serviceability, performance, and reliability.
  • Interact with appropriate company resources and work as a team.
  • Assess on-site field problems and operate required testing equipment to return systems to customer conformance.
  • Coordinate and manage replacement parts programs with individual manufacturing plants.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports detailing technical problems and solutions.
  • Document value provided to the customer whenever possible.
  • Assist in the development of troubleshooting service guides and bulletins.
  • Qualify, coordinate, and monitor outside subcontractor network as required.
  • Work with other district personnel toward continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
  • Provide installation resource services on a project request basis.
  • Provide training to first-line Account Managers on company offerings and resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or Chemistry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Strong digital, analytical, and project management skills.

This position is based in Zaragoza, covering a 200 Km radius of the surrounding area, including Aragon, La Rioja, and Navarra.
