About this Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Ericsson. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in developing new functionalities for our 5G User Plane, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling to ensure seamless product development.
  • Develop and test high-quality software products, leveraging your expertise in software quality assurance and test automation.
  • Build new automated test cases to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in software quality assurance and related domains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, data networks, and IP-based applications, including routing.
  • Proficiency in scripting programming languages such as Python, Java, or Shell/Bash on UNIX/Linux.
  • Experience with cloud environments, including OpenStack and Kubernetes.
  • Configuration of network equipment and good communication skills.
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and detail-focused, with a passion for quality and excellence.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable Competences

  • Knowledge of mobile network architecture, including 4G/5G interfaces, protocols, and functions.
  • Understanding of operating system architectures and ability to design scalable solutions.
  • DevOps and programming skills in C/C++ or Golang.
