About the Role

Berry Global Inc is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join its EMEA Treasury team. This position will report to the Global Treasury Director and be based in the company's Center of Excellence in Barcelona, Spain.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing all aspects of cash management and banking relationships, as well as developing and implementing initiatives that align with the company's goal of maximizing profit through efficient cash utilization.

Berry Global Inc is a leading global supplier of innovative nonwoven, flexible, and rigid products used every day within consumer and industrial end markets.

The company operates over 265 manufacturing facilities worldwide and employs over 46,000 individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement liquidity and funding solutions within the EMEA region
  2. Oversight of regional daily cash position, banking activity, and banking relationships
  3. Collaborate with legal, tax, and accounting teams to manage cash movement and repatriation
  4. Support local teams with the implementation of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) and Factoring programs
  5. Manage foreign currency positions
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
  2. 4+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury
  3. 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  4. Experience in treasury management systems (TMS) such as Kyriba is desirable
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Self-motivated with a desire to deliver results
  7. A team player with a positive attitude
