Job Title: Specialist Finance Planning and Control

As a Specialist Finance Planning and Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the commercial decisions taken by the organization are efficient, aligned with strategic guidelines, budget, and commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the planning process, gathering information and results from various areas, including Business Unit, Financial Planning, and other departments.
  • Ensure commercial inputs from commercial/operational managers are consistent, ambitious, well-balanced, and aligned with strategy.
  • Support the Business Unit in financial-related issues, identifying key opportunities to maximize efficiency in business decisions.
  • Provide external reporting to Group, adhering to established deadlines.
  • Explain variations in actuals vs. different scenarios (previous year, forecast, etc.) on a weekly/monthly basis, offering an analytical view and adding value to the business.
  • Assess the financial impact of commercial/project propositions.
  • Proactively address any financial issues that may affect ongoing business.
  • Execute and support the month-end closing process in Enterprise Business Unit.
  • Produce biweekly PL estimations and identify potential risks to achieve Budget targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information to the business.
  • Act as a point of contact between finance and business to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, control, and decision support, preferably in a commercial environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High level of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Office suite.
  • Experience in the telco industry is a plus.
  • SAP knowledge desirable (MM, CO, FI).
  • Solid professional background.
  • Proven analytical skills in a commercial environment.
  • Sophisticated planning and forecasting modeling.
