About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual procurement strategy for a small division or business unit, ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.
  • Direct the development of annual procurement business plans and tactical plans, ensuring full alignment with divisional and group targets, and set stretch targets for the team, benchmarking versus best-in-class external organizations, and measure achievement of objectives against key performance indicators.
  • Identify and engage key internal clients and external suppliers, exerting significant influence to drive procurement projects and negotiate agreements to decrease total cost with specified quality and service levels, ensuring supply security, and tracking savings according to group guidelines.
  • Implement and utilize procurement systems and tools in countries, ensuring consistent tracking of savings and other procurement key performance indicators, according to group policies.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in identifying, implementing, and continuously improving sourcing best practices, systems, and processes, and aligning policies.
  • Prepare and finalize procurement investment plans and budgets.
  • Oversee the management and development of procurement teams, including direct reports and indirect reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of relevant subject experience, preferably in IT-related fields such as procurement, supplier management, finance, architecture, IT outsourcing solution sales, IT infrastructure governance, or program management.
  • Preferably more than 10 years of experience in procurement or related fields, with a focus on IT infrastructure.
  • University or advanced degree required.
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree in IT, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management and leadership experience.
  • Senior stakeholder management.
