About the Role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking an experienced Agile Transformation Coach to lead our Scrum transformation initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coaching and training Scrum teams, facilitating change management, and driving the adoption of agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Scrum teams and their leaders to ensure effective implementation of agile principles and practices.
  • Develop and implement a change management strategy to ensure smooth transition to agile methodologies.
  • Lead Scrum Transformation Waves, guiding teams through readiness to sustaining phases of the transformation.
  • Coach teams on agile ways of thinking and scrum methodology, ensuring they derive value from Scrum cadences and adopt effective working practices.
  • Refine training materials and strategies to support teams in achieving success.
  • Serve as agile subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams.
  • Perform other incidental duties as necessary to support the overall success of the transformation initiative.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 8 years of hands-on experience managing projects of increasing complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizations through agile transformations, with a track record of coaching and training Scrum teams.
  • Proven expertise in using MS Office Suite and related project management systems, coupled with excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiation and relationship management abilities, to drive the achievement of objectives.
  • Extensive understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to agile methodologies, change management, and software development.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, along with experience in project budgeting and financial management.
  • Effective leadership skills and the ability to influence change, including facilitating change and collaborating with management and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working within regulated environments, demonstrating strict attention to detail and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization, coupled with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment.
