About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Medtronic. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Diabetes Business with existing and new customers in line with the Iberia Business Director and business guidelines in the defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Medtronic's Diabetes products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians, clinicians, specialists, diabetes educators, health service stakeholders, and other non-clinical buyers.
  • Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Diabetes products and/or services.
  • Work as a team with Technical Sales Specialists, Inside Sales, and Marketing Team to ensure and pursue a high level of training (product & services), education, and technical support to customers when required.
  • Conduct market research including customers and competitor activities.
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Life-science, Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or another relevant degree.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of selling experience in the medical device industry.
  • Knowledge of the Medical Industry competitive marketplace.
  • Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Computer literacy and Sales Force competencies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Team oriented.
  • Full clean driver license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare-related experience will be highly valued.
  • Marketing knowledge is valuable.
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement).
  • Highly valuable experience in the endocrinology sector, specifically in diabetes.
