About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team at the Instituto De Salud Global De Barcelona (ISGlobal).

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to conduct health impact assessments for the Barcelona Council project, focusing on the benefits of urban greenspace and health through urban greening and green roofs programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in identifying data sources and gathering data related to green space and health.
  • Review and develop greenspace and health indicators for use in Barcelona.
  • Collaborate with the Barcelona City Council staff on project meetings and activities.
  • Produce final reports and presentations related to the collaboration.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in health impact assessment and working with local government.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
