About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. As a Network Planning Manager, you will play a key role in driving network performance, quality, speed, and cost through projects and network initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy network speed initiatives to improve customer order cut offs and drive great customer experience.
  • Identify and implement design and process solutions that increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end-to-end performance.
  • Own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross-functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively.
  • Work closely with Fulfillment Centers and Transportation functions to drive real operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in deep diving operational metrics and problem-solving.
  • Work experience in Project and Program Management.
  • Work experience within a network planning or logistics/operations management role.
  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong executive presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and problem-solve.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.
