We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Planning Manager to join our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team. As a key member of our network planning team, you will be responsible for driving network performance, quality, speed, and cost through projects and network initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deploy network speed initiatives to improve customer order cut-offs and drive great customer experience
- Identify and implement design and process solutions to increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end-to-end performance
- Own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross-functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively
- Work closely with our Fulfillment Centers and Transportation functions to drive operational improvements
- Communicate regularly with senior management on network performance, risks, and time-critical mitigation activities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience in deep diving operational metrics and problem-solving
- Work experience in Project and Program Management
- Work experience within a network planning or logistics/operations management role
- Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Strong executive presentation skills
- Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
