About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's Eu Amzl Network Planning team as a Network Planning Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving network performance, quality, speed, and cost through projects and network initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy network speed initiatives to improve customer order cut-offs and drive great customer experience.
- Identify and implement design and process solutions to increase the reliability and consistent delivery of end-to-end performance.
- Remove defects from the pipeline and deliver a corresponding improvement.
- Own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve performance and schedule cross-functional resource allocation efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with Fulfillment Centers and Transportation functions to drive real operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in deep diving operational metrics and problem-solving.
- Work experience in Project and Program Management.
- Work experience within a network planning or logistics/operations management role.
- Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- Strong executive presentation skills.
- Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve.
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.
- Able to evaluate priorities appropriately, apt at resolving conflict, and able to communicate intentions clearly, delivering within time constraints.
