Position Overview
We are seeking a Platform Release Specialist to oversee releases within the EMEA region, collaborating with various business units and serving as the primary contact for discussions related to platform releases.

This position is integral to our team, partnering with fellow release specialists, product owners, and product managers across different regions, while facilitating and coordinating modern, iterative, and agile methodologies for software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product teams concerning release processes.
  • Continuously strive to enhance the release management process.
  • Organize and lead Go/No-Go meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, addressing issues that impact release scope, timeline, and quality.
  • Effectively communicate all critical project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, quality assurance plans, schedules, and scope modifications.
  • Exhibit thought leadership, promote process improvements, and support initiatives that foster work/life balance.
  • Collaborate with business, technical, and creative stakeholders to ensure timely readiness for capability launches and communications.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a strong desire to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Foster team alignment through clear communication and structured thinking.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with SAFe or Scrum at Scale methodologies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities, with effective communication across all development levels.
  • Customer-focused and commercially aware.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and a proactive approach to recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A genuine passion for delivery excellence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying workload demands.
  • Demonstrated initiative in seizing opportunities and resolving challenges.
  • Tact and diplomacy in conflict resolution.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers.
  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products relevant to the region.
  • Build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels, establishing yourself as a trusted delivery expert.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners across borders to establish standardized and accepted practices within Product Delivery teams.
  • Project delivery experience is a plus.
