About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Alstom in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Barcelona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and ensuring compliance with safety, industrial safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.
  • Coordinate and supervise the tasks carried out by the maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring the quality and timeliness of the work performed.
  • Plan and coordinate renovation, repair, and improvement projects for facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage general services, including cleaning, security, catering, and other support services, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, industrial safety, health, and environmental regulations, and manage the budget of the facilities and general services department.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and solve potential problems, and participate in the negotiation and renewal of contracts with suppliers.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and facility safety, and collaborate with other departments to support daily operations and general maintenance and service requirements.
  • Maintain updated records of all maintenance activities, general services, and legal control, and develop and manage energy efficiency programs to reduce energy consumption and operating costs.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Manager with a technical degree or industrial engineering background, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance management role in an industrial environment. You should have solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques, project management, and safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial maintenance.

You should also have the ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively, and knowledge in the use of maintenance management software (CMMS). If you are a team player with a passion for delivering high-quality results, we would love to hear from you.
