Job Summary

The VIE (Volunteer International Expert) assignment in Madrid is a 12-month contract that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the securities services industry. As a Project Analyst and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the TPO (Transaction Processing Operations) department in various projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the settlement area functions to gain knowledge of post-trading operations
  • Deal with clients and their operations, resolving incidents and providing solutions
  • Contribute to different projects in the TPO department, leveraging your experience and knowledge to enhance division efficiency
  • Participate in project management, testing, project controlling, and training of teams as a stakeholder
  • Take part in the analysis and preparation of DDR (solution proposed to the provider) and verification of DDS (solution proposed by the provider)
  • Provide support to Compliance/RM departments in the KYC (Know Your Customer) process, helping to implement the right process and communication links with KYC central department

Requirements

  • Graduate with a Master's degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Financial Markets
  • Previous experience in Securities servicing or business analyst in a financial environment (banking industry) is appreciated
  • Analytical skills
  • Flexible work spirit and willingness to learn
  • Independence
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fluent in Spanish, French, and English

About the VIE Assignment

This VIE assignment is open to candidates under 28 from the member states of the European Economic Space. The selected candidate will be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment. The VIE mission could potentially get postponed due to the evolution of the health crisis and subject to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE).
