Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inhouse Consultant BI & Analytics Expert to join our IT Team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in taking our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics to the next level.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Data and Analytics Projects
Develop and implement data-driven solutions to provide actionable insights to our business units, driving informed decision-making and strategic growth.
Partner with Global DivisionsCollaborate with our global divisions, business units, and group functions to scope new projects, gather functional requirements, develop data models, and design front-end applications.
Design and Implement SolutionsDevelop, test, and implement solutions based on our Qlik Sense platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Proactively Identify ImprovementsIdentify areas for improvement in the application lifecycle and make recommendations for enhancements, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Train and Mentor Team MembersPlan and deliver training sessions for end-users, focusing on Self-Service Analytics, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Support Operations and MaintenanceEnsure the proper operation and maintenance of our existing application landscape, including service request and incident management, and design and update required support frameworks.
Lead and Mentor Team MembersProvide leadership and mentorship to team members, serving as a role model and driving a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business studies, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4 years of working experience in a similar in-house consulting role in an international company.
Technical SkillsHands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Qlik Sense, as well as knowledge of Governed Self-Service BI concepts and familiarity with SQL and data modeling.
Soft SkillsExcellent collaboration, partnering, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and experience working with Senior Management.
Language SkillsFluency in English is a must.
