Position Overview:

As a key member of our IT Team in Madrid, you will take on the role of Inhouse Consultant for Business Intelligence and Analytics. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing our data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing our analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global data and analytics initiatives, delivering actionable insights to various business units.
  • Collaborate with global divisions and business units to define project scopes, gather functional requirements, and develop comprehensive data models.
  • Design, test, and implement innovative solutions utilizing the Qlik Sense platform.
  • Proactively identify necessary modifications in the application lifecycle and recommend improvements for effective implementation.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for end users, particularly focusing on Self-Service Analytics.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of existing applications, including service request and incident management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, serving as a role model within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar consulting role within an international organization.
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing Qlik Sense solutions, with a strong understanding of large-scale enterprise deployments.
  • Familiarity with 'Governed Self-Service BI' principles, with the ability to advise on best practices and visualizations.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, including the ability to create views and ad-hoc queries that incorporate business logic.
  • Experience with back-end solutions, particularly Snowflake, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills, with experience working alongside senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure and tight deadlines within a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
