About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Testing & Verification department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our signalling projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the verification process, including review, integration, and testing.
  • Create test specifications, ensure traceability to requirements, set up test environments, execute tests, and implement test automation.
  • Perform software and software/hardware integration, analyze test results, and report to the design team.
  • Set up, update, and maintain test labs for various test hardware and software configurations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools, techniques, and processes in a continuous improvement environment.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing and verification, preferably in the rail transportation industry.
  • Good knowledge and experience with programming languages such as script languages, Python, Visual Basic, C/C++.
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of agile software development.
  • Experience with software development tools like.NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins.
  • ISTQB Certification is a plus.
