Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of embedded software testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded software systems, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team of the automated test framework to set requirements and direction of the automation platform.
- Report defects to the development teams and where needed assist in the root cause analysis with them.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the embedded software testing team, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize testing requirements, and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automatic testing of embedded software.
- Expertise in developing and executing test plans and test cases for embedded software systems, including experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and identify effective solutions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for learning and professional growth, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements.
