About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team at Amazon, working on Project Kuiper, an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure embedded software in C++ and Rust
  • Write software to interact with microcontrollers and develop device drivers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture
About the Team

Our team focuses on secure communication between critical satellite functions, including power management, hardware interfaces, command & telemetry, and autonomous control. We are looking for a talented software engineer to participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations.

What You'll Do

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment. You will participate in the design, integration, and improvement of the software, including designing and implementing low-level embedded software on our hardware services.

Requirements
