Job Description

Hitachi Energy is a pioneering technology leader dedicated to advancing the world's energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure.

Our transformers business unit offers liquid-filled and dry-type transformers, as well as services for complete life-cycle support, including replacement parts and components.

We are seeking a Factory SCM Specialist to support our SCM Manager in various daily tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the Factory SCM on assigned tasks.
  • Liaise with the Planning & Fulfillment team to manage ERP data under SCM responsibility, including supplier contact details, allocation plan, prices, lead time, MOQ, Incoterms, and payment terms.
  • Support material price and Terms & Conditions control throughout the value chain, from tender to invoice control rules.
  • Measure gaps between tender and actuals, investigate root causes, and take corrective/preventive measures.
  • Support tender material costing and run tender-specific negotiations where applicable.
  • Act promptly on assigned issues escalated according to the escalation matrix.
  • Support analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Lead and/or support company and contractors' qualifications processes on assigned suppliers.
  • Support Supplier Performance Evaluations on assigned tasks.
  • Work on improving assigned supplier performance measurement and improvement tasks.
  • Support assigned claim management to maximize compensation to Hitachi Energy and escalate as necessary.
  • Support Factory SCM in material cost cutting and risk mitigation projects, preferably using Dynamic Evolution methodology.
  • Support SCM-related local activities for R&D, DTV, New Product Introduction, and product cost improvement projects.
Your Background:
  • Experience as SCM in a similar sector or related industrial field.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or Economics or Business Administration.
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Package, especially Excel.
  • English and Spanish required.
  • Resident in Cordoba or Andalusia area.
  • Proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
