Key Responsibilities

Assess and define the information security objectives and requirements of the business within the designated Siemens Gamesa IT Cybersecurity Operations domains. Execute the IT Cybersecurity Operations strategy in alignment with established standards and processes. Maintain effective communication with Siemens Gamesa business partners to ensure prompt resolution of Cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities. Facilitate coordination between Siemens Gamesa IT and its contractors to meet Cybersecurity Operations goals. Oversee the effectiveness of Cybersecurity Operations - SOC processes to maintain an acceptable risk level for Siemens Gamesa. Ensure that the capabilities of IT Cybersecurity Operations, including personnel, processes, and technologies, are functioning optimally. Lead the implementation of the IT Cybersecurity Operations framework MitreAtt&ck, ensuring that use cases and playbooks align with Siemens Gamesa's objectives. Ensure the effective operation of threat intelligence processes in conjunction with SOC operations and vulnerability management. Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate identified Cybersecurity risks to IT Cybersecurity operations partners. Prepare and deliver reports to the Siemens Gamesa IT Cybersecurity department and partners as necessary. Support the planning, budgeting, design, and alignment of information security processes and IT environments. Organize and conduct Cybersecurity training and advisory sessions. Analyze and monitor trends and advancements in the IT Cybersecurity field, with a focus on Cybersecurity Operations. Typically reports to an IT Manager or Team Leader and the CISO/ISO of the same unit. The Cybersecurity Operations professional will be integral to the IT Cybersecurity Operations team, ensuring that SOC processes are effectively managed in accordance with the objectives set by the IT Cybersecurity Operations Manager.

Qualifications

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change are essential. We are seeking candidates with:

Proficiency in SIEM tools and knowledge of the MitreAtt&ck Framework. Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux systems. Familiarity with Antivirus and EDR tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and associated security tools. Completion of SANS training (Monitoring and Detection, Penetration Testing, Cyber Defense Operations). Fluency in English (C1) and Spanish (C1).
