Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the information security objectives and requirements within the designated Siemens Gamesa IT Cybersecurity Operations areas.
- Execute the IT Cybersecurity Operations strategy in alignment with established standards and processes.
- Maintain effective communication with business partners to manage cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with IT teams and contractors to achieve cybersecurity operational goals.
- Ensure the effective functioning of the Cybersecurity Operations - SOC processes, maintaining an acceptable risk level.
- Oversee the operational efficiency of cybersecurity capabilities, including personnel, processes, and technologies.
- Facilitate the implementation of the IT Cybersecurity Operations framework MitreAtt&ck, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with SOC operations and vulnerability management to enhance threat intelligence processes.
- Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate identified cybersecurity risks.
- Prepare and present reports to the IT Cybersecurity department and stakeholders as necessary.
- Support the planning, budgeting, and design of information security processes and IT environments.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and advisories.
- Analyze trends and advancements in the IT Cybersecurity field, focusing on operational aspects.
- Report to an IT Manager or Team Leader and the CISO/ISO of the unit.
- The Cybersecurity Operations professional will be integral to the IT Cybersecurity Operations team, ensuring effective SOC processes in line with the objectives set by the IT Cybersecurity Operations Manager.
Qualifications
A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change are essential. We are looking for candidates with:
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and knowledge of the MitreAtt&ck Framework.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux systems.
- Familiarity with Antivirus and EDR tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and security tools.
- Completion of SANS training in Monitoring and Detection, Penetration Testing, and Cyber Defense Operations.
- Fluency in English (C1) and Spanish (C1).
