We are seeking an experienced leader to join our dynamic and diverse global team at NielsenIQ, dedicated to developing innovative solutions that uncover the complete consumer journey for our clients. As a Research Director, you will be responsible for leading and defining the R&D for our Consumer product's core methods, evaluating and improving current methodologies, and presenting findings and recommendations to peers and senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with international teams in a flexible and supportive setting to enhance methodologies, especially consumer projection and analytical models.
- Lead and manage a team of experts to develop prototypes of new solutions and methodologies to address challenges in a dynamic market environment.
- Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive business growth and innovation.
**Requirements**
- Master's Degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Socio-economics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Strong statistical and logical skills, with experience in outlier validation, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, or data aggregation techniques.
- Knowledge of consumer behavior and managed consumer-related crowd-sourced panels.
- Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets, with experience in programming languages such as Python.
- Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders.
